Midwinter1888 Posted October 30, 2010 Share Posted October 30, 2010 Hi, I'm trying to recreate Pararaptor's Explosive Knockdowns mod from the original FO3 (http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6439). I've tried to contact the original author, but they're not answering - so I'd decided to give it a go myself. Hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult as the original apparently only took ten minutes to make. But I am a mod-making noob. Basically, I want to add a high knockdown chance to all FONV explosives. I've figured out how to open the weapon base details window in the NV GECK, but I can't see where the knockdown chance is. gcreature Posted October 30, 2010 Share Posted October 30, 2010 If you go to Game effects>Explosion you can modify the effects for the actual explosions. The weapon data settings only change the initial impact (if you look at something like the grenade rifle it does a pathetic amount of damage). Looking at the bottom right of the window for the 40mmGrenadeExplosion there's an option for knockdowns (always/by formula/ never). To be honest I have no idea how the formula works, looking at the knockdown game setting there seems to be a bunch of variables like agility/health/force and damage. Back on the explosion window there's an option to add an enchantment such as "meansonofabitchsledge" which gives a knockdown effect.
