TomSawyer Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 Hiho. I ever had some ctds and they were more or less. Then i tried the masterupdate but that didnt made things better. I got the impression that with the masterupdate things were getting worse. Now i got the problem that i visited Vault 92, then Oasis and on my way back to the Vault it turned out that i cant reach Vault 92 anymore. I am playing with Wanderers Edition and the problem is that my motorcycle is in front of the vault so i cant reach it atm (so i could walk to Fernando on the foot but that wont solve the problems with the ctds which can and will appear again). At some times in the whole game (in some areas) i had 1 ctd every 10-15 minutes. To be honest, playing like this a masochistic way and i wont do that anymore. Enough pain in the ass. So i hope someone can help me a bit out. 1. How can i reach the motorcycle again / How can i reach the Vault again I tried different savegames to reach the vault again - failed.I tried player.moveto 2b89e (Dave in Old Olney) and move then to the Vault - failed.I tried coc Vault92a and move outside - failed.I tried some of the things mentioned above with and without masterupdate.I tried different resolutions (because sometimes that helped on crashes while moving into my megaton house) - failed. The ctd is reproduceable. At certain points near the Vault the game crashes. I dont know how big or small the cells in F3 are but it seems that trying to enter a cell is a problem. 2. How can i reduce the ctd at all I realy take care of the old rpg-rule save early, save often. Man i got 2598 saves in my 144:15:19 hours in the game. The game with its ctds forced me to do this. No quicksave, often new saveslots - sometimes overwriting old ones, saving while moving, no saving while waiting and no saving while sleeping. I would be glad if i got 1 ctd per hour or such stuff, that would be awesome. I had times where i played 2-3 hours without a ctd but the last hours in the game werent that way. As i said the masterupdate didnt help and i got the impression its worse now. Sideinformation: I own a Powercolor HD4870 and never had problems with it. Every game was running fine. In Fallout 3 sometimes i got bluescreens with a msg related to ati2cqag. Even removing the driver, using driver cleaner pro and installing a new driver didnt help. This is my loadorder. I didnt changed it for some time so the problem cant be a new mod or something. Delamer saw that so there shouldnt be heavy errors in the loadorder.
