So what exactly is your problem now? The original issue you stated that the game won't start and crashes immediately? If that is indeed your problem then you need to go back to the start of the thread where Brasher, Bben, and myself listed what needs to be done.

Then after checking Bben's suggestion the only thing left to do is the following. Disable mods one at a time until the game starts, then you'll know exactly which mod was causing the problem.

My problem is and always was(I just said crash instead of freeze because I am an idiot)that is freezes when the screen with all the copyrights is fading away I am just after turning of all my mods and deleting my ini but still the problem persists.

I reinstalled the game downloaded and few mods and the crash prevention mod and when I launched oblivion it said I was missing fastmm_fulldebugmode.dll so I downloaded the dll and tossed into my oblivion folder(not data)and then I launched oblivion again and the message didn't show up but you know after the bethesda,2k games and copyright video thing there is a loading screen just before main menu and it crashes(actually crashes this time)while that is loading this is my mod list:

Sounds like a missing master crashing that early.

I just reinstalled today and have been slowly adding mods back in and I experienced a crash at the exact spot you describe due to human error. I got ahead of myself and installed a mod before a prerequisite and crashed at the main menu.

About the FastMM dlls I cannot find any of those in my Oblivion or Data folder so I'm not sure you should have one there either. The only ones I have are associated with OSR - Oblivion Stutter Remover - and they are located in the following directory; Oblivion\data\obse\plugins\componentdlls\BorlndMM.dll and debugMM.dll. Those are different Memory heaps you can assign with OSR.

Most likely cause for that error is #1 below. If not move on to #2.

#1.) You have iHeapMode=4 set in the OSR ini.? Here is a quote from the developer of OSR - Oblivion Stutter Remover.

If it's asking for FastMM_FullDebugMode.dll, that generally means that you have iHeapMode=4 in your OSR ini file. That settings is not intended to be used, and the required files are not included in the beta. Set iHeapMode to another value (1, 3, or 5; 2 is also an option on Vista/win7; 0 is lower performance & higher stutter but also an option).

If that's not the case then you have a more serious issue, read on.

#2) My Google searches indicate you have an installation error with either Oblivion or hardware drivers that's causing the FastMM error. I take it you didn't clean the registry or defragment your hardrive when you uninstalled? Possible reasons for the .dll error you received are the following.

  • FastMM_FullDebugMode.dll error is likely to occur when a new program is improperly installed and the FastMM_FullDebugMode.dll file is overwritten
  • FastMM_FullDebugMode.dll error is likely to occur when a program is incorrectly uninstalled, and the related dll file was left corrupt
  • FastMM_FullDebugMode.dll error is likely to occur when the device drivers of the malfunctioning devices are corrupted on your computer.
  • FastMM_FullDebugMode.dll error is likely to occur when certain malware program has successfully intruded and change the default setting and the registry entry of the dll file.

You can refer to THIS site for possible solutions or just use Google, like I did.

Good luck.

Okay, so you ruled out #1, but did you read rest of the post? I listed and linked you to all possibilities for that error you're receiving. From there it's on you to actually take the steps necessary to find the root cause of the problem and repair it.
