RedRocketTM
You should be able to play with a friend, but he'll be shown to you as an NPC.This only works with 2 people playing together yet, but in addition you'll need another computer to host your server on, so it's a lot of efford for just testing an alpha. (If you only had another computer off couse ^^)
sleaaels
And if the players do not have same mods, what happens? or is this multiplayer only for pure vanilla?

RedRocketTM
If you'd like to play dwarves in Oblivion you'll have to go download a custom race mod for it.I think I've seen a mod with the dwarven race before, but as I'm not sure you'll have to look it up on your own. ;)
Povuholo
Are they exist dwarws ? Cause they exist dwarwen armor so it need to exist dwarws?Sry for my english. They aren't in the game, but they are in the lore, If Oblivion has lore, that is. They are in dozens of Morrowind books. But they aren't the short dwarven folk you would think of when thinking about dwarves (well, we don't know for sure because there isn't enough information about them as far as I know). They are also called Dwemer, I don't know why they changed their armor's name into dwarven. In Morrowind you had Dwemer ruins, with all kind of mechanical monsters... They are extinct now (except for one in Morrowind) so you shouldn't find them anymore. M'Aiq didn't have any useful information about the mystery of the dwarves either, when he was in Morrowind: "There is no mystery. M'Aiq knows all. The dwarves were here, and now they are not! They were very short folks... Or perhaps they were not. It all depends on your perspective. I'm sure they thought they were about the right height."
