Sancez
After a long time and much hard work I finally managed to operate the toolset, and to create weapons and armors. Now I'm trying to convert mods from Oblivion to Dragon Age, following mainly these two tutorials:http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/72/index/320619/1http://baldur.mike.fastmail.co.uk/importingtutorial I add the template to the toolset and I create the weapon in the game, but then my character fights with a invisible greatsword . Can sameone give me some advice please?
WastelandAssassin
as far as i can tell you, it's probably the game not reading the meshes of the swordare you sure you actually added the meshes\textures to the right place and all??
XTR3M368
not having the proper values in the MODELSU, MODELTY and MODELVA columns of your GDA will make for invisible weapons as well. There is a very handy GDA app for quickly opening up and modifying GDAs outside of the toolset. If you have done the other steps right, fixing the GDA will show the weapons mesh....the textures can still be messed up, but the mesh will show. Sancez
I added the mesh and textures in the override folder: not the one in documents, where we install the mods, but the one in programs. If I wrong please tell me... Now I try with the GDA app, then I will tell you if it works ;)
Sancez
I made some changes to the file GDA, the result in game is this… The textures of the sword does not appear, how do I fix? And for the size, I have to change it in Blender or what? http://img813.imageshack.us/img813/7540/screenshot2010110112452.jpg http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/5417/screenshot2010110112463.jpg
Sancez
Now the texture works, but it's still great as a Palace and otherwise... I tryed to fix the size with Blender but it didn't work.. http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/7489/screenshot2010110113305.jpg
XTR3M368
ROFL...that is BIG! I bet there would be someone who would like it that big....anyway, here is an article that tells you how to resize items in Dragon Age. *edit* you should post those pictures of the HUGE sword in the images section. Even though it might be a "mistake" per say, I think people will get a kick out of it....how about a caption of "Yea? Well mine is bigger than yours!" lol

Sancez
I fixed the size before reading your post, so it was not helpful sorry. But now I have another question: in game the sword does not dirty with blood. How can I do?
