Risuun Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I am working on creating a red-dot sight for weapons in NV. I have an early mesh that I've been trying to get in game so that I can figure out how the process works before doing much more with the mesh. I have a basic texture applied and placed on top of a weapon in Nifskope. The new meshes show up on the weapon in Nifskope properly textured, but when previewed in GECK, the gun shows up with all changes except for the new meshes added. I've created a GECK mod with the appropriate settings to use that model, but it keeps using the default one instead. When I re-name my .nif to the base name, the game crashes upon switching to that weapon. I've compared the block list data of my mesh and I can't seem to figure out how it is different from every other one I've seen in Nifskope. I am brand-spankin' new at all this so if someone could help me out or at least direct me somewhere I could figure it all out, then that would be great.
