master412160
Right now the mods that are around are: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10035/? or some other one like: try but fail at making this an immersive feature part of the game core. I challenge any modder out there to make a decent mod that allows for: Crafting bedrolls depending on the type of pelt the bedroll will look diffrentBe able to place it on the ground but also to pick it up. Make it compatible with frostfall or other big mods like Ineed. Edited February 10, 2015 by master412160
faffman
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19943/? This is what I use, and it fits the bill with both your conditions.

master412160
Many people are having issues getting this mod to work, including me. see:http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19943/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D19943%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D720675&pUp=1 Edited February 10, 2015 by master412160
cdcooley
You still haven't said what the problem is either here or in the mod thread. You need to be more specific about exactly what isn't working before anyone can help. That mod also works perfectly for me but there are at least two quirks that would be problems for any mod like this. If you have some other mods that alter pelts or add other types of pelts to creatures you might not have the correct ones for making the bedrolls. If you craft more than one of a particular bedroll the scripts may not get initialized correctly. That's a game bug that can be resolved by simply dropping them all then picking up and placing them one by one.
master412160
Well I think one of my mods causes this mod not to show the receipe for crafting a bedroll. Probably because I had a bear pelt in my invetory that was (poor) and now got one that is vanilla. I've deactived nearly all my mods because of an other un related issue so I thought it was a good point to give this a shot. I crafted the bedroll but can't place it on the ground no matter what I do. I'll also try to find out what mod changes bear pelts. Before I deactivated all my mods I could only buy bear pelts of a certain quality not the vanilla ones. Is probably a mod that changes this like ZFO Food overhaul maybe. In any case maybe it works if I find a bear and kill it and use that bear pelt to craft the bedroll with... Still have to work out why I can't use the bedroll though. faffman
This may be stupid, but you do know that you simply drop the bedroll on order to place it on the ground, right? Then you have the choice of picking it up again or unfolding it.

faffman
Good, one issue down. The rest however, I can't even comprehend since it's always worked perfectly for me since day one. Tried placing it lower in the load order?
