RedClairefield Posted November 1, 2010 Share Posted November 1, 2010 Some things that I like seeing but feel like they are under-utilized 1. Weapon Mod Kits are INCREDIBLY rare and very expensive. They're also pretty random. If I had my way with the game, I'd make the weapon mods more common and also add at the very least a scope and laser sight mod to all weapons. 2. Throwing weapons, especially throwing knives, are incredibly rare. Poisons and ingredients for them are also hard to come by. This makes poisoned throwing weapons absolutely not viable in any way, and prevents a throwing weapons character from reaching their full potential. I would like to see the weapons more common and the poisons (or at least the ingredients for them) sold by some merchants. 3. Make NCR and Legion currency into actual currency that can be used for merchants in their respective territories. Caps will be a "universal currency," and banks (or perhaps merchants themselves) can convert currency from caps but not back into caps so that the currencies aren't made redundant. 4. Make disguises only work if you have a full outfit including helmet or hat. This way partial outfits can still be worn and not be disguises. As it currently is, one can wear a NCR armor and a Legion mask and be disguised as NCR because the disguise is in the armor alone. 5. Make leveling somewhat slower. I notice I am leveling up very quickly, and it's a bit frustrating. I enjoy exploring the wasteland, and I don't want to boost enemies by upping the difficulty to Hard or Very Hard just because I do a lot of exploring and every pointless task earns XP (hacking an Easy console earns 33~50 XP!). 6. Reduce the amount of humanoid companions to one. The game isn't meant for a party of 3 or 4 to be running through the wastes with infinite ammo on all but the main character. I don't know if any of these things are part of any mods or not. These are just some things I'd like to see in future mods, and I'm sure other people would like to see these things as well! My character has a low survivability as is. I wouldn't mind an accuracy mod that LOWERS enemy accuracy (unless they're snipers) so that they're less likely to hit me when I am moving or dodging. That, or a sprint key that makes the character move very very fast at the cost of AP so I can get away from a firefight I'm not ready for. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
