cycs92
Hello. I've tried everything I could find including: Switching the files out of read-only, updating my drivers, reinsalling Skyrim 3-4 times, manually changing the resolution in skyrim.ini file. I am sooo out of ideas and it's eating me alive as I've just taken holidays and was looking forward to playing Skyrim. Any help you can give is appreciated - Thankyou! <
Xanlosh
Hello Are you using Modorganizer? If yes go to your modorganizer/profiles/%nameofyourprofile% Folder and try to change the inis there. If not What happens when your change the resolution manually? Is it not changing or do you get the error failed to initialize renderer`?
cycs92
Thanks for the reply man, i've uninstalled all my mods so I imagine modorganizer wouldn't do anything? And when I manually change it is just does nothing, however if i return to the .ini file it is still set to the res I changed it to.
Xanlosh
Mod organizer is loading the settings from its own folder ;)Even if you have no mods installed but start the game over MO ;)Try to start it directly from the game folder without MO

onekrone
Try opening the Skyrim Launcher through MO then clicking options. Then changing to Ultra settings. Close out of that and try opening the game normally through MO. If that doesn't work find the driver for your graphics card and change those settings.
