KiwiDaniel
I had the delayed sound, no NPC voices etc, but had background music I tried turning off all sound but Master & voices but that didn't help.I disassociated winamp from ogg files (Now associated with wmp) then I downloaded the silent hill homecoming patch v11it fixed the sound completely  but it screwed my graphics up. I can easily live with the acid popping landscape, but my pipboy is totally blank. Is there a way to disable the graphic's part of the patch while keeping the sound? Thanks for any help, suggestions etc*Edit Dragon Age Origins, FO3 all work great Landscapehttp://oi53.tinypic.com/13za2ad.jpg Pip Boyhttp://i56.tinypic.com/1605vo3.jpg Not sure if this is needed, but info from dxdiag ------------------System Information------------------Time of this report: 11/1/2010, 18:40:43 Machine name: DANIEL-B651B7E0 Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 (2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.100427-1636) Language: English (Regional Setting: English)System Manufacturer: n/a System Model: n/a BIOS: n/a Processor: AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2GHz Memory: 1024MB RAM Page File: 722MB used, 6345MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.5512 32bit Unicode Card name: RADEON X800 Series Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc. roeguard
I'm having the same problem. I tried different d3d9.dlls out there, and this is the only one that fixes the sound bug, but some of the others fix the graphics problems. When I go indoors with this problem, it seems about half the textures are simply not loading. If I got 3rd person, my avatars textures blink in and out as I move around. I'm wondering if its trying to multithread the graphics more than my card can handle?
KiwiDaniel
The indoor graphics happened to me to, but I maxed out the distance for everything (Actor's, tree's grass etc) & it fixed the indoor problem 99% of the time. removing the ATI & Nvidia folders didn't change anything.I'm guessing that altering the settings in the enbseries.ini file would fix the graphics? but I have no clue what most of the settings mean
