Recommenced utilities?

Hello.

 

After very long time (more than one year) I've decided to play FNV again.

 

I'm sure some things changed since then so I would like to ask few questions before installing everything.

 

First of all - which Mod Manager I should use? Is FOMM still the best or I should start using something else (NMM?).

 

Secondly - I understand many bug fixes have been released since game release, I'm just not sure if I should download and install every one I find or just focus on selected few? Which bug fixes are must-haves right now?

 

All help will be really appreciated :)

FOMM is still the go-to standard, NMM is still a buggy piece of crap.

 

As for "bug-fix" mods, I don't use many myself, and the few times I've tried using huge "compilation" bug-fix mods I've run into game-killing issues, so someone else will need to chime in on that.

If someone could also tell me more about all these bugfixes, which ones should I install and which ones I shouldn't mix I will be very grateful.

 

And what about BOSS? Is this program 100% correct if used to set load order for most popular mods like Project Nevada, WMX, ElectroCity and compatibility patches?

FOMM is still the best idea for FNV/FO3 since some mods can not be installed with NMM last I heard. I would skip BOSS and try LOOT instead, but yes BOSS works for FNV/FO3.

 

I personally use Yukichigai Unofficial Patch, its the only bug fix mod that contains ONLY bug fixes. Mission Mojave is good and I used it before Yukichigai's, but it has more changes then just bug fixes in it.
