saves problem

okay so i have a real savegame problem, before doing a sistem reinstall i saved all of my oblivion savegames and i noticed they were grouped in folders and each folder had the folowing files:

1. Creature0.sav

2.Creature0.sav.meta

3.Creature1.sav

4.Creature1.sav.meta

5.Game.sav

6.Game.sav.meta

7.Script.sav

8.ter.sav

 

ofcourse after reinstalling oblivon they didin't work and i noticed that saves were named:

Save 1 - Blade - Imperial Prison, Level 1, Playing Time 00.08.15.ess

 

i think the game renamed my saves because i had so many (200+). i don't want to start all over again, i mean exept for the dark brotherhood and the main quest i finished mage's guild, thives guild almost all fighters all the side qest and other stuff i can't even remenber(and i'm level 40+)

 

please help

Not sure if this helps: I did the same as you a couple of weeks back and i found that when i load a saved game it just crashed, so i had to install most of the mods. and it worked. I guess it can't handle it if too many mods go missing in one fell swoop.

i don't have any mods instaled. does anyone else have an idea?

That is normal, those saves are the same as what i have, I didn't think you could change the title of the save games to what you want:

Save 283 - Weaver - Imperial City, The Arcane University, Level 45, Playing Time 375.25.33.ess

Sorry, to clarify; but the kind of files like my save file doesn't load/work? or are you saying your trying to load those you numbered "1-8" (creature0.save, etc...)?

that's my problem. i don't have any other saves exect from te 1-8 like saves. The normal savegame name didin't appear in my saves directory, this was all i had. So is there any way i can get my saves back?
