Converting COD MW2 models to NV

Hey guys, I have tirelessly tried to find some feasible way to convert Call of Duty weapon models to New Vegas/fallout 3. Any suggestions?

well, i have a couple of suggestions for you, though you may not like them

 

first of all, this site is against hosting ripped content, so asking such a question here, might not be your smartest choice

luckily, you asked how, not asked for it, so it's not so bad :thumbsup:

 

now, i have no idea how to do what you are asking for, but i do know that all the weapons used in that game are real weapons, and most of these weapons were already made

as of now, you can find probably all of them in the 20th Century Weapons mod, but it is for Fallout 3, and not yet made for New Vegas, but i'm sure this will change rather soon

 

if you really need to know how to convert the models, ask in the Underground, as they have ripped models from the game (armors mostly, but it's almost the same deal)

I own both games so its ok but the issue is converting the file types inside the IWDs, I want to add a wunderwaffe into fallout that doesn't suck :D

care to explain what you just said??

because it didn't make sense to me at all.......

 

and if you really need to know how to do it, just find which model type each game uses, and google a way to convert the file types

Oh I'm sorry lol.

 

1- I own both MW2, COD WAW, fallout 3, fallout New VEgas

2- I its literally impossible to find anything to convert the 2 file types

3- I want to use the models to get good weapon models imported

well, if you can't find any help on google, then i would suggest again that you visit the Fallout 3 Underground, as it has rips of several games, such as Mass Effect, CoD, and i'm sure others as well

so you can ask the people there for help

but again, if you are looking for models of such weapons, most have already been made, and are present here on this site, in several mods (the largest being 19th and 20th Century Weapons)
