Linux and Fallout

Ok, well it isn't listed in Wine, except as a shortcut. I actually installed it via PlayonLinux: http://i53.tinypic.com/bf5h7b.png When I try running Wine from terminal:

froggy@Frogg-PC ~ $ sudo wine

[sudo] password for froggy: Usage: wine PROGRAM [ARGUMENTS...] Run the specified program wine --help Display this help and exit wine --version Output version information and exit

What command do you actually want me to run from terminal?

Also if I cd to wine, I get the following output:

~/.wine $ wine fallout.exe

wine: cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\fallout.exe"

Why it tries to find it in system32, I have no idea.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. Wine stores all Windows programs in a special location. It basically has an entire Windows drive, usually located at ~/.wine/drive_c. So Fallout will be installed in something like ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Fallout 3. You need to cd to the directory containing the Fallout 3 exe (I don't have the game, so I can't tell you exactly what it's called, or exactly where it is), then run the command "wine [FO3 exe]". This will run the game normally, but will print debug output to the console.

It may work differently with PlayOnLinux - I've never used it, and tbh I'm not entirely sure what it does.

If you have Windows available though, it probably is easier to play it on that, yeah.
