Evil Lord Proteus
Is there a way to increase the range at which the game renders/loads things in high detail? Im sick ofhaving to right up close to something for it to sudenly stop looking like putty. Im running the game on max settings/x8 AA/x15 AF with max draw distance. Pretty much everything is at max range, and still everything "morph's" before me rather than loading at greater detail further away.
Evil Lord Proteus
bump. There was a mod called New Vegas tweaked that apparently did this but it accidentally removed the UI, and was promptly removed from the nexus, assumedly so the UI bug can be fixed. Evil Lord Proteus
One final bump before I let this die. Surely there is a way.

Evil Lord Proteus
Ok I just tried it, but it keeps resetting to the default values when i start my game. So it basicly reverts the changes back to the previous settings and my changes never even happen.

Fallout: New Vegas Update {"Most tweaks which would normally go in the Fallout.ini file in Fallout 3 actually need to be made in the Fallout_default.ini file found under the \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas directory in Fallout: New Vegas. This is because when the game is launched via Steam, it opens the launcher first, which overwrites your Fallout.ini file with the contents of the Fallout_default.ini file, along with your launcher settings. Make a backup of Fallout_default.ini, then edit it with a text editor"} :)

Evil Lord Proteus
I just tried it and it works like a charm. so far setting it to 11 seems to be the best so far, with no stuttering or bad framerate. The first time i tried it I set it to 21 but that was a bit much, and I got some performence deterence. Thanks again for the help. :)
