More Weapon Mods?

I'd really like to see weapons mods usuable by a wider variety of weapons.

All ranged weapon should be able to get an extended clip (except for revolvers) or a mod to improve durability or lower weight and certainly a scope option (Specifically I'd like to see a Laser-Type Scope for the Plasma Guns!).

I think melee weapons should get sommods as well; improved materials, greater damage output, or for bladed weapons add a Shish-ke-bab Mod to add a fire effect to them (A Giant, Flaming Bumper sword would be some scary stuff!) or heck even add in sharpening stones to make them do more damage for X number of hits, or even a rocket-propelled head for the super-sledges!
