Blood on custom weapons during battles

Hi everyone, different problem so different topic :P

 

I added in game same custom weapons converted from Oblivion to Dragon Age. They work very well, but noone becomes dirty bloodshed in battle and do not appear the effect of spells. How can I fix it? If not the magic effects, at least I would add the blood... :confused:

I can tell you what's missing, but not how to fix it. The native models all have a "shell" object to which the blood and magic effects are applied. I don't remember if it's actually a part of the model mesh or something defined in the PHY files. That's what you're probably missing for your converted items. However, having never worked with custom meshes for DA, I can't actually tell you what you need to do to get that shell into your models or give you more details than that.

thanks, but I have already fixed it. To add the blood (not magic effect) you must modify the mao file and change "prot.map" with "weapon.map", then the sword can become blooded in game. :thumbsup:
