sm0kie420
Hi I am wanting to install FWE. It came in 2 parts, and I removed the -numbers at the end of the file name. Does FOMM automatically detect the Part 2 7z file? Or do I need to add in package manager each one? The instructions say: "Select the "Add New" option and browse to and select the Full Package file you downloaded. Once you have selected the file, it may take a few minutes to build the FOMOD package." I went and added each file and I checked in the mods folder, and the fomods are different sizes. Thanks While I'm at it, I might as well ask a few more questions to get it out of the way. I'm coming off a fresh install, since I totally screwed up my previous install. I lazied out and just extracted a bunch of mods without package manager. This time I want to do it right and do it all with Package manager. I know load order matters, but does it matter which order I activate stuff? Since I am assuming some mods overwrite each others' textures. Also, I don't need archive invalidated since it comes with FOMM right? Will it recognize NMC's full texture pack? Here are my mods just in case (I have them all loaded in package manager, but not activated yet) Fallout GOTY Already installed: latest FOSEFWE 603MMM RC61EVE 096WMKProject BeautyAll the current FOIPDarnUIFelloutDimonized Type 3 BodyBook of Earache (maybe)
rgx02
Dont worry, both parts are different sizes, one of them has the main files and a few meshes/textures and the other is mainly meshes and textures. They are distinct files, dont worry. Only nmcs files are together. I know load order matters, but does it matter which order I activate stuff? Since I am assuming some mods overwrite each others' textures.I'm curious about that as well, i havent seen any difference during the game at least (which doesnt mean much as i dont notice anything but the blatant stuff). Also, I don't need archive invalidated since it comes with FOMM right? Will it recognize NMC's full texture pack?Yes, you can use fomms archive invalidation, i'm using it with nmc textures whitout a problem. That is suposing your game isnt installed at program files folder (on windows vista and 7) You have almost the same setup as mine minus a few things. You should take note of something taken from book of earaches download page:"Greater sources of conflict would be Project Beauty as this mod changes the inventory of dozens of NPCs"I never used book of earache because of that. If you do and it works normally, tell me. BTW whats Dimonized Type 3 Body for? Will it replace the bodys of all the npcs or only gives you more choices for character personalization? sm0kie420
Thanks... I always just installed part 1 of FWE. No wonder I get some glowing/white armor and weapons! Got it all working correctly now. I didn't dare to install BoE cause I'm afraid it's all gonna start crashing again. My last install just started crashing before it even loaded, even with all the mods off and a new INI lol. Dimonized body type just makes the females naked if you take off their armor :)
