Unlimitedrevolver
I think there should be a mod featuring a continuation of Dunwich Building, in which it would add a book to the player's inventory or delivered to you after leaving Doc's place in the beginning, the book would be the book the Lone Wanderer burned at Dunwich Building during a Point Lookout quest in Fallout 3. Later on in the quest as you try to find out what the book is, and why you can't get rid of it, you should find out via a note of your relative, that their relative who lived in the DC area once burned the book, and that as it burned, via the mind, and that it said that it would be back one day to seek revenge, that is why you have the book. So you go on to later permanently destroy the book, but as you go on your quest to do so, the book causes you to have your vision messed up, like in Fallout 3 when you go to that one Vault that gives you blue hallucinations. When you get to your destination, the book should leave your inventory and turn into the ghoul the Lone Wanderer faced before burning the book at Dunwich. However he will be 2/3 as powerful as a deathclaw. Upon defeating him, he should turn back into the book. Then you go to destroy the book by creating a vacuum rift using a machine and tossing the book into it. However the book will speak to you, and it will tell you that if you keep it you will be rewarded greatly. If you took the destroy it option then it will go into the rift and the rift will close and the machine should blow up or short out. The book: At start causes -5 luck; +2lbIf you chose to keep it you will have: -2 luck; -1 charisma; -5 personality; +2 strength, perception, endurance, intelligence;-4lb; moderate bad karmaIf you got rid of it you will have: luck restored/+2; +2 charisma; +10 personality, barter; +1 intelligence, perception; major good karma The quest should be for levels 10+ It would be awesome if someone could make this. I would try, but the GECK always crashes for me.
simplywayne90
That might need to be restated for clarity, however earlier I was remembering Dunwich and that I'd love to see something similar as a mod for new vegas, but it'd have to be by a good writer since I'd perfer not starting off knowing what will happen, and surprising someone without giving it away would be pretty hard for a mod you have to get people to download.
