Not a single item mod works for me :/

Like I said in the title, not one new added item will appear for me in-game. I put everything in the correct places. Hell, I even put them into every single folder in data, just to be sure, I loaded the files while launching the game and I used the consol and still could not find the files. I've seen that other users have had the same problems, but I've failed to come across a helpful solution.

Does this happen with every item mod you install?

This problem is somewhat similiar to mine. Although mine only happens with my own mod. Not with other modders mods.

Still haven't found a way fix it.

The most common reason for this is not extracting the mod before putting it into the data folder. All mods are downloaded as compressed (zipped) files and must be unzipped to work.

 

Then, you must check the mod in the data list in the game. Or in the mod manager if you use it.

 

Another possibility is a pirated version. The only advice for this is get a legal version.

Well, yes I did do everything mentioned above. But you are correct, it is not a legal copy. So that is it, that is the only reason this is happening. No workaround other than getting an official copy?

 

Yup, and until you do have a legal copy you are banned here.

If there is, I doubt it would be posted here. Like bben46 said the only advice in that case is to get a legal copy.
