jallard
Hi, al!! Can anyone help me with installing more hair styles? I can use the DAO-Mod manager? I unzipped the files into my override file, but it still doesn't work? The DAO-Mod manager keeps telling me that it isn't a daozipe file. Also, is there a mod for the Dalish and their leather armor? How about pre-sets --that aren't too outrageous? Thanks.
Thandal
To make "More Harirstyles" (and many, many other facemorpf mods) work, you'll need to update the "chargenmorphcfg.xml" file to include all the new coifs. Very tedious to do by hand. I use Terra_Ex's "CharGenMorpf Compiler" utility (available here on Nexus) to handle that chore. NOTE: The default DA program path it wants to use is incorrect for a Win7-64 install. There isn't any "Bioware" in the PROGRAM pathname. You make the change after installation of the utility. Thandal
I AM SO LOST. i downloaded more hairstyles and its all in mmh and msh files and no one ever talk about them on here, so i have no idea as to how to get the files into zip or dazip. please save me.One doesn't have to "do" anything with those files directly. One uses the "chargenmorphcfg.xml" file that the author provided to make the apporpriate changes to the "chargenmorphcfg.xml" the game uses. (It can only use one such file at a time.) This file assigns what specific results are obtained from a given "slider" position (which .mmh and .msh files are applied) during the Character Creation process. Making all the required changes to the ".xml" by hand is a very tedious process, hence my recommendation to use Terra_Ex's utility for this task. BTW: This type of mod does NOT go in any ".dazip". It goes in your "...\packages\core\coverride" folder.
