Nolanoth
OK it's a FO 3 tutorial that well might fork for New Vegas: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/articles/article.php?id=274 But hell I have no idea what's the guy talking about sometimes like - meatcaps?? So is there some better tutorial on how to do a quick edit? I can modify armors in blender, but later importing them to the game is more of a problem. So I'm hoping someone knows a better way to do this stuff.

"3dsmax:-Create and skin armor to the oblivion skeleton" ?? Can't I just like modify some armor's mesh in blender and import it somehow to FO NV without all the complications? Nolanoth
Could you possibly take a look at my model if I export it? I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
ecksile
Well before we get there whats the problem your currently experiencing? Screenshots are your best friend.
Nolanoth
Hmm well I loked at this tutorial (extremely basic): I simply copied a peace of the armor (before the wrists) from Reinforced Combat Armor MK II to Reinforced Combat Armor MK I and when I run GECK it just crashes. I can't post a screenshot because I'm running a Polish version of XP so there's no way people could translate it. Anyway here's the file: http://www.fileimport.com/2jjmnqo7g9c2/mark1combat.nif.html
Quetzlsacatanango
That copy/paste block method is really outdated, from before we had nifscripts that supported fallout 3.
ecksile
People have told me you can add armors in straight from export but It doesn't work for me so I still use that copy/paste method.
