the_senator90
DISCLAIMER: this is merely for personal use. I have no intention whatsoever of uploading this content to this site, but I thought I might consult people for legal and personal ramifications. I have a legal copy of Fallout New Vegas, and I wondered if it is possible to export some textures and meshes to customize for personal use in fallout 3, and what would be necessary to do that. I had an idea to create a new type of combat armor using Prometheus_ts Advanced Combat Armor mod. Here's the link: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6978 I had an idea for Dustered combat armor long before New Vegas came out. In fact I have a drawing of my character in such armor, and I will upload the concept later if I can. But I was wondering if I could back port the NCR Ranger Combat Armor's duster into Fallout 3 and use it's textures as an overlay for a pieces of lighter or models provided from the Advanced Combat Armor Mod provided by Prometheus_ts. Here's the pic of the armor: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/NCR_Ranger_combat_armor Now of course I would customize it so that it fit the fallout 3 setting. But I wondered if this was possible at least for a personal basis and what would be the process necessary to do so. Thanks, Nate Phillips

I just would like to be walked through the process of properly backporting, and more importantly, creating the custom textures necessary.
