Switch weapon 1h to 2h

Is there a way to change a weapon like a claymore into a 1handed weapon with the CS? Or do I need some other program to do this?

I just checked there and it told me most of it but do I need the BSA unpacker also?

Sure, unless you're using someone else's .nif and have their permission.

you don't need a bsa unpacker to change 2h weapons to 1h. just open up the original and change the id, stats and weapon type.
