Ghost265
I made my own .esp to add a box filled with stuff, and now when I go near it, my head explodes. I think this may have to do with the mod being corrupt, cause once when I had TGM on, I didn't die and I activated the box and it crashed my game. Anyone that can clarify? luthienanarion
That sounds fun. Can I get a copy of your ESP to see what's going on?
Ghost265
Sure. It essentially is just a big cheat adding the majority of the weapons and armor (including DLC) to one box placed next to the original location of the underground hideout mod. Download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/riz3fi8q2d6c5h9/box.esp?dl=0 Like I said, if I am no where near it, I'm fine. As soon as I fast travel over to that area though my head explodes. Once when I had TGM on I was able to get close because the explosion didn't blow my head off, and when I tried to press E on it the game crashed. I am unsure if I actually did press E on it or if my game just crashed anyway, but you get the picture.
Fallout2AM
Pure assumption, take it as it is... You took everything in the list of weapons and armors (by the way, they include non-playable / enemies / followers weapons) and since you loaded DLCs too, this means you placed all their weapons and armors too, which means the sierra madre collar too. When you get closer to the collar, the script starts running and it's blowing your head because you're not inside sierra madre, or whatever are those conditions, because it doesn't include some failsafe condition to prevent this strange situation. Could it be? Edited February 18, 2015 by Fallout2AM
Ghost265
I just went through the box to see if there was an explosive collar and other items of the sort and I couldn't find anything. I also excluded any items that were marked with "Yes" under quest object. Edit: Found one collar, Slave Collar, that I removed and I still blew up. Fallout2AM
Did you try removing all the items and see if you still blow up?
Ghost265
No, but I don't blow up if I turn off the .esp. Also, I doubt its the box because I just took a random footlocker out of the container list and made a new one out of it. I am going to try removing all of the items. Also, I have noticed that just aiming at the box while standing within range of activating causes the game to crash, if I have god mode on and survive the head explosion. Fallout2AM
I don't know if you took a scripted container and I'm not sure if there's a way to understand that once you removed it from the dropdown menu, so it would be still a proper thing to do.You also have placed things like turrets and bloat fly spits and follower weapons etc.etc. inside that box, I would really suggest to empty it and redo the work reading what you are actually putting inside, instead than selecting everything inside the Weapon or Armor sub-branch and drag them inside the container Edited February 18, 2015 by Fallout2AM
Ghost265
I'll try that. However, I've noticed that once removing everything from the container the game simply crashes, no more head exploding. If I get within activating range the game stops working.
