Magicka won't regenerate

Well, I've got a serious problem for some time now in Oblivion, and that is: my magicka won't regenerate. I don't have a disease for all I know (can you see you have a disease anyway? tried cure disease and poison, so it's probably not that), all my stats are ok, I even tried Dark Necromancers magicka regen mod if it would help anything, but all to no avail. Can anybody help me plz?

go to a chapel and use the shrine, i bet you were fighting zombies recently. You can see effects on you, check the tab menu (can't remember top of my head exactly which categor), its a pain but at least its there.

Simple guess, but you are sure you haven't chosen the Atronach as birthsign? :huh:

Simple guess, but you are sure you haven't chosen the Atronach as birthsign? :huh:

 

I think it's that, since you said you didn't have a disease. I would check it though. At the magic tab, take the most right tab, which shows the active effects. (spells casted on you, enchantments, and diseases) The disease is called Astral Vapors. If it's not there, you probably have the Atronach birthsign, who has the ability stunted magicka, which doesn't allow magicka regeneration.
