jcmlsn
Hello everyone, my first post here.I've been looking into getting mods to work -- and I'm evidently notthe only one -- in the newest patch for Dying Light, and you can stillmodify the game, for anyone who is wondering, so I created a simplebatch script to make modding a breeze. This batch file creates a PAK-file using 7-Zip and moves it to yourDying Light game directory. Tested and working with patch 1.4 ofthe game. REQUIREMENTS:- Extract the contents to anywhere on your local hard drive. (Duh, right?) - 7-Zip must be installed. (Tested with 9.38 64-bit) - You must modify "mod.ini" to reflect your directories. HOW TO USE:After checking the requirements, put any mods you want to use withDying Light in the "mod" directory, and then run the "mod.bat" batchfile. The file is then created and moved to your game directory. When thecommand window disappears, that's it. It's done. DISCLAIMER:This overwrites your "data3.pak" in the game folder. I am not to be heldresponsible for anything that goes wrong as a consequence of your usingthis batch script. You agree that you use it completely at your own risk. Have fun!jcmlsn Edited February 17, 2015 by jcmlsn
swannylad
Wow actually appears to work with 1.40. Well done and Thanks!I will say I had to double-check my mod.ini but re-enabled Timepiece mod for me nicely. More Ammo still giving "no slots available" grief. Will try with TimeScale and DirtyClothes Much Appreciated

wormball
Big thank you for this as I find the game unplayable without mods.
