goldinguy Posted November 6, 2010 Share Posted November 6, 2010 I'm not sure all the options for the end of Arcade's personal quest, but I ended up with him going back inside the bunker to prepare for the fight and me not getting his armor. I'm fine with not getting his armor, as I can always give it to myself using PC console commands, my question is, is there a way to made a mod for you to be able to use Arcade as a companion again. I'm not sure if there was a way to finish his quest with him not being locked inside and coming back with you, but either way, I think he still should be usable as a companion as I'm to final mission in the main quest line but still have plenty I could be doing elsewhere, seems stupid to lose a companion for all that? Also, I am having problems with the bug where his radial menu wont come up too.He has my Brush Gun+ and a mod gun in his inventory but I can't trade with him >.> Anyways use the console commandmoveto player 0010d8eb maybe? goldinguy Posted November 6, 2010 Author Share Posted November 6, 2010 I did his personal quest with him in my part, problem is, I should of looked ahead and found out what happens with all the choices after he confronts you outside the bunker and then left a save far enough back to retry if I didn't like it. Of course I didn't. Anyway, my choices made him decide to fight with the remnants in the upcoming battle so he shows you his family's armor then disappears back into the bunker to "plan" with them for the upcoming raid. Problem is you can't get in there ever again and he dosen't come out until they join you in the final battle. I consoled myself his armor since I messed up and didn't do it right to where he gives it to you, problem is, even if I moveto player him to me he just immediately phases out of the screen and returns to the bunker. I guess because he is coded to be there to be "planning" for the final mission. I also tried console commands to reset his quest to certain points or back to the beginning, but nothing seems to work. I'm wondering if someone can use GECK to find a way to remove whatever flag is keeping him in the bunker after you complete his mission so that I can resummon him to me with consoles and him not immediately phase back to the bunker. I hate the fact that he is not available as a companion for the rest of my exploring and I'm sure some other people might like it as well. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
goldinguy Posted November 7, 2010 Author Share Posted November 7, 2010 I've done some editing with Geck and gotten him to no longer disappear when summoned, but he is still stuck on the dialogue options of his "bunker" self. I'm wondering if there is a way to edit him, or maybe the game, or maybe your quest status to think that his personal quest never happened and therefore let him be recruit-able again?
