I miss Cast When Used Enchantments

You remember the "Cast When Used" enchantments in Morrowind? Does anyone else miss them? I liked being able to play a Warrior or Barbarian, and have a ring to cast a spell at that Cliff Racer to take off a bit of its health before it reached me, or to thin out a group of enemies. Or when I played with the Atronach birthsign, and once I ran out of mana I was able to fall back on my enchanted items.

 

If there is a modder out there who thinks they could make this happen again, then I will love you forever.

 

If this has already been done, kindly point the mod out for me. :)

I never played much Morrowind, but just from my limited knowledge of Oblivion's system, I don't think that's possible =( Too bad, because that sounds neat, though.
