Support membership

Hello i wanted to buy the member ship - supporter but i saw it can only be done via cc, is there a way to do it via paypal?

But Supporter Membership can by paid via PayPal and all other payment methods provided by the site. What makes you think it can't?

 

I just tried it myself, selecting PayPal as the option, and it went through till the point of filling in my payment details (which I don't have, but doesn't matter). At which point did it make you think you couldn't and why?

Cause i selected the supporter membership i added it to the cart i did the checkout and it is asking me for billing infos not redirecting me to paypal

 

I did lurk a while and couldnt find the paypal option either ><

Hmm, that's weird. When I go down the path it gets to the point where it asks "How would you like to pay?" and provides the following options:

- Select payment type - ... obviously the empty choice when nothing is selected yet,

Debit/Credit Card ... which on selection automatically opens a section of input fields for my credit card data,

2Checkout.com (Debit/Credit cards) ... which leads me to the 2Checkout.com login page when I click "Confirm My Order",

and

PayPal.com - Non-recurring Payment (Debit/Credit Cards, Pay Pal account, bank transfer) ... which automatically leads me to the PayPal.com login screen when I click "Confirm My Order" this time.

 

 

 

However, there's one thing I noticed just while trying it out another time: IF I already went to PayPal or 2Checkout once and then returned back to the page via the back button, it WON'T redirect me those pages again when I change the option and click "Confirm My Order" AGAIN. I had to click on the "Step 2 Confirm & Pay" tab above to reload the page FIRST in order for these to work again.

 

So you're saying you select "PayPal.com" as the option and you are presented input fields like when you select "Debit/Credit Card" instead?

 

 

edit: Coming to think of it, it may also be a little confusing that nothing's telling you to click the confirmation button first in order to get to PayPal, while when selecting the debit/credit card option you're immediately presented the input fields and confirmation here actually means final confirmation of the order itself already. Maybe some text instructing you to click that button in order to go to PayPal for the final steps might be of help here.
