TheBlob2
for some reason, everytime i try to change a script in nvedit, it doesnt work. does anyone have an explanation for this?
DrakeTheDragon
I don't know how it works in FO:NV, but if it's anyway near how it works in other GameBryo games, Oblivion for example, NVEdit can't 'compile' the script and you only altered the uncompiled 'source'. This, however, is only of interest to the Script Editor in the Geck, the game engine itself won't care. But better wait for those who do know how it works in FO:NV. Mine's just wild guessing. Fallout2AM
Not sure it's possible, I think the only way is through GECK
RoyBatterian
Only GECK (or CKIT) has a script compiler. It would be nice if Edit did, but it currently does not. I don't think the developers will ever implement such a feature as it is outside the scope of the program. If you need to edit scripts which use NVSE or some other plugin then you'll also need to use the NVSE launcher with the -editor parameter.
