I Believe the spawns should be increased or added so that one may actually consider paying for a mercenary,because frankly otherwise, it's a walk in the park.

WuphonsReach Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I've considered adding thug spawns, but with a bit of randomness scripts attached so that they don't always appear. (Which may already been in the base spawn logic for FO:NV, I haven't looked yet.) Freeside is rather barren, and a bit too safe. I would add the spawns in the corners and niches - but I also need to finish all the quests in there so I would know where not to add them. (There's a few places where *new* NPCs spawn in, that you probably don't want to end up engaging in immediate combat with fiends/thugs.)
theboomer Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 There are many gray areas around Freeside to incorporate them,However others are usually inhabited by Kings that by far overpopulate the area. And if Npc fights were to occur you could modify the Npc's factions.

GoodfellowGoodspring Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I REMOVED all the thugs in my mod lol, i believe Freeside should be for the poor guys who cant get into the Strip. Not a barren suburb of it where you get attacked, that's Westside!
