@StarDusk: As you can imagine, everyone who responds will have a highly personal perspective on this!

See my list (and some others' as well, and the thinking behind them) at: Good Mods?

"Qwinn's Unofficial Fixpack" - a MUST HAVE.

"DA Rules FixPack" - even more, fixes Shale's "Rock Barrage"!

"Dialogue Tweaks" - fixes a slew of broken branches and plot flags

"Epilogue Slide Fixes" - edits the end-game slide show to more accurately reflect choices/events in the specific game just finished (corrects errors in the default set that refer to a different "past" than the player had just created)

"Improved Atmoshpere" - makes significant improvements to the placement and behavior of the ambient populace in various locations. Adds some "non-standard" items, materials, and effects. *** USE WITH CAUTION *** May be incompatible with other mods (esp. "crafting" ones) and may cause saved games to exhibit unusual behavior regarding (missing/inaccurate) equipment if it is later removed

"Polygamey" - supresses the automatic "It's him/her or me" conversations when romantically involved with more than one NPC.

"Equal Love" - supresses the gender-specific restrictions on interactions, including romances.

"Morrigan Restoration FixPack" (with ZDF addon) - Adds back some excellent interactions that were cut.

"More Hairstyles" - 'cuz you can never have enough!

"PinappleTree's Vibrant Colors" - same as above

"Biddles Makeup Studio" - same as above

"CharGenMorph Compilier" - to handle the housekeeping chores associated with the chargenmorphcfg.xml

"DAO-Modmannager" (DAMM) - to handle the housekeeping chorse asociated with ".dazips" and ".overrides".

Various NPC facemorphs - switch them up to keep it fresh!

"DAFaceReplacer" - lets you create the face you "meant" to, then handles all the swapping of files and settings to get thet face onto your already existing PC. Also allows you to change your PC's (first) name, and includes a cheat to give you essentially unlimited inventory capacity!

One that I use that is more radical than the above asthetic ones is: "Skip the Fade", which eliminates the need to mess with an entire stretch of the game that I loathe!
