Help needed

I need one person for each of the following:

 

-new Castle with new Kvatch rugs-

 

-10 new similar looking Houses-

 

-1 new Fighters Guild-

 

-1 new mages guild-

 

-3 new statues-

 

-1 new chapel and chapel undercoft-

 

-20 new npcs with new voices-

 

-5 new stores with store name signs-

Nothing like starting off small.

 

This is for some project involving rebuilding Kvatch right? Are you aware that there is already a group working on this? Are you also aware of how few people there are available to do new textures let alone new meshes? That said, you want someone making your castle, houses, guilds, temple, and pretty much everything else... What exactly are you planning on doing in all this? Coordinating? Signing your name to it when all the hard stuff is done for you? Seriously, the idea is ok, but the only way you're going to get any help is by doing most of the main stuff yourself, then asking people to do a few extra things here and there to make it complete. Sure, you might get one or two people willing, but without any major personal effort on your part, nothing will get done.

Vagrant0 is right. I doubt that I would have gotten the team I have now if all I was doing was creating a basic plan and giving out orders. No, I was able to do everything I needed myself and because I was not only able to, but ready to, people came.

 

My suggestion is to contact the team that is rebuilding Kvatch and offer to aid them. I can't wait until someone does rebuild Kvatch though, that will be a must have mod.

The Final version for rebuilt Kvatch will definately be a number one hit.

Agreed with the aboves, no ones going to take time out to work on your project if; 1. You don't have a portfolio already (as proof of your abilities); 2. You haven't already created a base mod with pictures to show for it; 3. Good explanation why people should help you (you need to sell your idea).

Perhaps we will see your name as one of the modders on The Rebuilt Kvatch mod when it comes out!

One person doing 20 different voices for different races? I can't even find one to do a dark elf.... And like Vagrant0 said, what are you going to do? What can you do? And wouldn't it be better to just join the kvatch rebuilt mod team? I don't want 5 different low to medium quality kvatch rebuilt mods when it's possible to work together and make 1 high quality kvatch rebuilt mod.

 

I think you should join with the other mod, since they are quite far already. It just has no use to start a new mod when you don't have a team yet, while there is a full team working on the same mod already, for weeks already. Most people interested in rebuilding Kvatch joined that mod already anyway...

The NPCs are easily done -- compared to ONE person making 20 different voice-sets :)

 

How many mods have you made YOURSELF? How many intelligent posts have you made here at the forums? If we presume that all your other posts was (I doubt it), you'll get to the enormous total of FIVE!

I joined him to help him with this. I didn't join to do everything myself.

I like the team, and SoS is really good at making us - the crew - decide lots of things. We discuss it, and SoS "translates" the result to work that needs doing. Do like him. Get a name, get an idea, TELL PEOPLE WHAT THIS IS FOR, be nice.
