I asked this last night, and the answer is that it could be done fairly simply, although it would take a tremendous amount of time.

The more important issue is that its illegal. You could do it to your own game, since its unlikely you would be caught, but you couldn't distribute it. So if you want this, you basically have to do it for yourself. This is one of those areas where legal technicalities prevent an amazing idea from coming true.

Here, lemme clarify this for you..

It is not illegal to take two works and combine them for personal use. It is illegal to take two works, and combine them, including copyrighted material in a means outside of it's license. You could make a plugin that would reference the F3 world and F4 world, but you could not package either of the resources with it.

  • 2 weeks later...

There are places to discuss this very idea, but they are not here at the Nexus. There is such a project underway, but you will have to look elsewhere to find it if and when it is completed.

Meet me by the streetlight at 3 am. I'll be wearing a brown fedora and a trenchcoat. I'll take out a cigarette and ask if you have a light. Put the information on the inside of the matchbook. Say nothing, act natural.
