Mechants have their stock in their inventory

First Off i would like to say thanks for reading and sorry if something already exists that i cant find.

 

So imagine this, your walking through the wastelands when you come across a traveling merchant. Your dying of thirst and you have all that crap you found prospecting. so you barter with the merchant selling your prized possessions and valuable weapons so you can afford that bottle of water so you don't drop dead in the middle pf the desert. While drinking your warm funny tasting "clean" water you see the merchants mercenary get severely injured a legion recruit. You think this is your moment and being the devil reincarnated you pull out your sawed off shotgun, point it at the merchants face and pull the trigger. his head explodes in one shot (thanks to that realistic head-shots mod) you turn towards the mercenary whom has better armor and switch to your grenade launcher with high explosive rounds. after he is dead you loot his corpse, taking his gun, ammo, and armor. you then loot the headless traveling merchant to find that all the stuff he (I'm assuming it was a man because i wouldn't shoot a woman in the face with a sawed off shotgun) was trying to sell was neither in his inventory or his mercenary's inventory. There was no brahmin with him to help pack it (And if their was one, you killed it! probably with a hammer, because if you can kill it with a hammer you should.) All this stuff is gone, plain old missing. all you could find was a small amount of crappy stuff on the merchant, and that kick ass hat he was wearing (which was still good after pouring out all the liquefied head). after brooding over this mystery and drawing a mustache on the mercenary you leave to continue your quest.

 

 

So now that you read all that what i would like to request (or be yelled at and told one already exists that i couldn't find) is a mod that makes it so merchants items all have some sort of home in the game. I do not care if they keep it in the crate by their beds or in their bulging pockets. I just think that i should be able to all items merchants have to offer through alternate means. Whether I'm stealing from someone or brutally murdered them in a nightmare-educing fashion. The items should exist
