JAD2010
Hi all i have recently uploaded a mod wich changes the Xbox interface to a custom PlaySation DualShock for those who use a controller to play Fallout New Vegas but they dont have the 360 controller. I blocked the endorsements, hidden image etc till I thought the file was ready. Now i want to unlock endorsements and I don't know how xD Where do I can do that? thanks
DeadMansFist849
You can't unblock endorsements :) You can show the file though....if that's what you meant. Go to "manage files" and click the little eye icon that should say "show file".
JAD2010
You can't unblock endorsements :) You can show the file though....if that's what you meant. So, if I want to unlock endorsements, I have to create the file again? but this time without blocking endorsements of course xD By the way. I blocked discussion and everything too. Can't I really unlock anything? lol. Is really a s*** EDIT: I have uploaded the file again and deleted the old one. Problem solved P.S.: as this forum is for suggestion too, i suggest to let people change this kind of stuff. People change their minds and may want to modify permissions in a later time. shantisands
Since this is a feedback area, I hope the necro-post is more acceptable than starting a new thread for it... But i agree. I didn't see the benefit at first to having my files endorse-able... but I do now thanks to a few people's comments on ease to contact the creator etc. and so was surprised when I went to switch the file to "endorseable" and discovered there was no way. A toggle for that would be wonderful. Thanks :)
Pronam
They've done it as being a feature you've got to think of before acting towards it, like for the fact if you could handle criticism or not. If everyone could toggle it on and off constantly it proves little use for all parties involved and could lead to more arguments. As a lot would just disable it when a negative endorsement/comment is given or in an attempt to silence people. Which can be logical in a sense, but will probably provide more trouble than good. I've got to admit that changing it once every month or would be a nice alternative though. As that's not there however, it's making a choice to keep an old filepage or replace it with a new one with everything enabled.
