Idea for difficulty mod, is this possible ?

Hi there folks,

I like Dying Light, but as most people have discovered, the way the difficulty works is a tad wonky.

I had an idea to help this which as far as I can see hasn't been done, and was wondering if it was possible. I know some of the steps are possible, just not others.

-First of all, all weapons would be weakened MUCH easier, with the option of how much weaker being available. [Doable]

-Damage nerfing in later levels, again with selectable amounts of nerfing [Doable, and already done by lyravega > http://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglight/mods/67/? ]

-Custom blueprints that change the parts requirements, or the editing of standard blueprints to do same, or the amount of parts picked up increased (like when you picked up a string, it counted as 2 instead) - basically a way to decrease the likelihood of not being able to use a blueprint due to heightened weapon crafting.

-Weapon upgrades being buffed & nerfed - to add damage improvements to all of them, but removing durability upgrades completely (apart from in rare orange, like Titan upgrades) - [Doable, I already do this]

-Increase of backpack size to accommodate increase in weapons being used [Doable]

-Adding new weapons to do same, also including 1 weapon of every type with "super stats" that is ludicrously expensive [Doable]

-Explosives being buffed in strength but also in range, to make them more useful, but dangerous to the user too - they ARE explosives after all! [Doable]

The way I see it working is as you progress, the weapons will become more and more flimsy, especially the stronger ones. So you would be tasked saving the stronger weapons for the harder enemies. Ideally if it's possible to change the amount of repairs doable, it would mean only killing 1-2 harder enemies before needing a repair. Also changing some of the upgrades to insanely buff durability, but only have a handful of these in the entire game.

This way you are still super strong, but there is more urgency when confronted with stronger enemies in numbers. And if all else fails you can fall back and lob and explosive.

Most of it I know is possible as I've customized my game that way, I'm just wondering if the parts one is possible before I start scratch and make my own mod.
