TomSawyer Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 Hiho. Was lvl 8 with Boone & ED-E in Vegas at the NCR Embassy and tried how strong the securitrons and soldiers were. Maybe there was someting going wrong but i was able to kill all of them and the NCR soldiers without any problems with a small gun skill of 45 and Boone & ED-E. If that was not buggy (maybe because those stupid bots didnt react as they should) it would be nice if someone could improve those bots / soldiers to be real guardians. dra6o0n Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 Lv8? Try killing them at Lv20 with the usual Gauss Rifle, Plasma Rifle, and Riot Shotguns... It doesn't do that much damage to them. Heck, I somehow think the "Armor" system is a bit unbalanced, because the only reason I was able to kill ANYTHING with a shotgun is because of my -10 DT perk on enemies (lowering their defence) and being able to do 60 Damage per shot (200+ DPS). The bullet swapping system isn't very handy mid battle... For certain weapons it takes too long... The game lacks a lot of cover in urban areas so your kinda prone to be shot by 4~5 enemies whilst your trying to reload... And if you think that is bad, wait till you get to the part where 4 BoS ambushes you on the way out of the bunker when your lv15+... The gauss rifles being shot at your face hurts (since they stand pretty close). I'm starting to think that every 5~10 levels, the mobs stats are multiplied by 50% or something... 75 Gun stats doesn't exactly help you at this point, where most high leveled guns seems to require 100 (I balanced out between energy and guns)? Those two could kill the whole strip if they want. :-/ But to be honest it was a massacre i cant say who shoot who and did the most damage lol. What realy was annoying is that those stupid bots didnt attack like they should do. Im sure they do some dmg but they were circling around like retards and didnt realy attack. I tried to kill Victor one time and he pulverized me in Goodsprings without any problems. edit: Tried it again without Boone and ED-E. EVEN ALONE I COULD KILL ALL SECURITRONS with my shotgun. Those stupid bots didnt react like they should and the NCR Soldiers were running away (WTF?) so plz can someone fix that? :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(Or a 40mm Grenade Rifle loaded with 40mm EMP ammo from my DENV mod.) I'm not sure that the Securitrons are that hardy anyway, even after you upgrade them for Mr House.
