Al99
Hello everyone, I think that Fallout Nw Vegas is a great and very immersive game. However, I have hardly began to play it when I descovered a very annoying technical issue. While I do not have any problems with VATS crashing the game etc. I noticed that when I use certain weapon (e.g. Grenade Rifle), VATS sequence is sort of twitching. It is very similar to the glitching which appears in the below video (00:21 and 00:24), just before and after shooting. In my case it looks as if the VATS camera changed its angle rapidly for a split second which looks like slight flashing. The glitch appears not only from the player's view but also from the enemy's cinematic perspective. Sometimes it is also accompanied by flashing of the enemy's enegy bar. I thought that it might be caused by the recent update of my Nvidia drivers to version 260.99 which was supposed to improve the game's performance. I also thought about the game's engine but when I launched Fallout 3, everything was was with the VATS sequence. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjFgwnN73aQ&feature=related My PC specs are as follows:Windows XPIntelCore 2 Duo 8600 2,66GHz (overclocked to 3,5Ghz)Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 512Mb3,5 GB RAM memory I have applied some fixes (none of which should have any influence on VATS) as well as the Performance Fix d3d9. I have also the Pre-Order Mercenary Pack. Should I find no other solution I will have to install the previous drivers or reinstall the game... :(
