ChadiousMaximus
i have created a Mod, which i am trying to playtest, which involves a trigger which adds items after killing people in thier sleep to be more specific, i have made a trait which duplicates the Mr. Sandman perk in certain aspects, and after using it to slit somebodies throat in thier sleep, it adds some bloodpacks to your inventory problem is, the game crashes everytime the mouse even gets near the blood packs in the inventory. if they get selected, BAM, game crash. what i want to know is WHY??? some more specific info that may help... -i have removed the "Sandman Kills" tally from the perk trigger of the new trait/perk-the bloodpacks added into the player's inventory are done via a modification of the Sandman trigger in the Perk Data-this is being done on a brand new home made computer (less than a week old) with Windows 7, bare minimum software, and no internet access (i am writing this from work!) though i am likely to continue trying to figure it out myself when i am not working, any help in the mean time would be appreciated :)
WastelandAssassin
my guess would be that you have messed the bloodpacks up somehowhave you changed the bloodpacks in any way??usually this happens when the item has a problem, so you can't use it and if you created a new item, check it has all the required things (like model, value, stats and what not)
ChadiousMaximus
my guess would be that you have messed the bloodpacks up somehowhave you changed the bloodpacks in any way??usually this happens when the item has a problem, so you can't use it and if you created a new item, check it has all the required things (like model, value, stats and what not) i have changed the blood packs, but, like the Hematophage Perk, the change is only present for those who have this special Trait (without the trait, blood packs are still default). i have made similar changes to over half of the consumables in game as well, and they still work appropriately (both with the perk present, and the default without it) i do have many more additional changes to the blood packs that aren't present in the other consumables, so maybe i have put too much? i can mess with it later tonight to find out
WastelandAssassin
you do thatbecause if the cause of the problem is the bloodpacks, then it might just be that you over did them, or somethingjust try and see if you can understand what is wrong with them
