LocDog92
So this is my 1st thought's for new mode.Maybe this was already talked about and not made or some1 maybe posted this already on forum but i couldn't find it ,anyways here it goes.. So imagine u get bored little bit from just doing quests and running around just the same thing u did in F3? Well i had this plan to make you a Caravan Merchant U would start off from Goodsprings and then i don't know somewhere ,where ever u want (as long there are specially made merchants there). So u would go to some place and sell i don't know like bunch of stuff and u get lot's of money and that place "evolves" from trading with youU would Off course have merc's with you and/or your companions (your choice really) I know this maybe really hard even impossible (well for me ) to make this but if there is even the slightest chance for this i would contribute to it as much as possible Again im saying this came to me as a "vision" xD if some1 already posted something like this i'm sorry didn't want to steal ^_^ Wanna know your opinion on this
dra6o0n
Instead of forcing players to start a new game in order to be a merchant, it should be a line of quest where players can ask a NPC on BECOMING a merchant, and will have to pay a good fee to start off with the basic utilities. Maybe the idea would be more oriented on "Jobs" than work. You can be a farmer, a merchant, etc. That kind of thing.

Well that is also and option i don't know what would be easier to mod but i would enjoy with both options and ofc farmer and other stuff even prospector would be cool
kouriichi
While your short hand typing causes my eyes to gouge themselfs out.... I must agree with you. I would love the ability to become a merchant, or to work as an escort for a caravan. But as the other player stated, trying to start them off completely differently is a bit out of reach for most Modders right now. But the ability to run a caravan, or escort them for money would be completely do able. I give this idea a thumbs up.
svantehalldin
That would be amazing! That is something i have dreamed about ever since i started playing fallout. Would love to run a caravan, be a caravan guard or be a farmer. It would make this game even more amazing!

Ye me to :D.I mean the game itself is awesome but it would make it even more cooler if could make yourself a farmer or merc guard for caravan's etc etc...But i think that would take allot of work.Plus if some1 could make something like that it would be even more awesome to mix it with Arcoolka's The Settlers mod ,man oh man that would be one epic jizz in mah pants ^_^
