Thing is, though, by the looks of it, everyone who's into melee weapons at all, seems to want a sword. The exotic blades got as many downloads in a day as the maces got in 3 weeks, although IMHO the maces are better meshes, and by the looks of it even the one Uruk-Hai blade is going to catch up with the pack of several maces. As someone with an interest in history, I find it somewhat... unusual. The mace was one of the most reliable ways to penetrate face-hardened gothic plate armour. It also wasn't exactly a lowly weapon. It eventually evolved in a symbol of rank, going all the way to the royal sceptre. At least all over Eastern Europe, from sotniks (centurion, sorta) to the elaborate Voievode sceptres, their symbols of rank were functional and deadly maces. And earlier it was the weapon of the elite byzantine cavalry. On the other hand, it's not my job to tell people what to like. If people like swords, that's that.
