Trouble with mod I created

Hey all. Playing Oblivion yet again. Last time was 2 years ago. I created a house mod that I wanted to use again but even after I dump the ESP into the data folder, it doesn't show up in the game. I have disabled all of the other mods I have except for the one I created. I can easily find it in the Construction Set. All the stuff is still there but it won't show up in the game. Could it be due to the fact that I don't have all of the mods I had previously installed 2 years ago installed now? I really like the house so I would love to use it again. Thanks in advance.

Is your house in the right worldspace? Let's say you build a house outside the Bruma city wall. You must place it in the Tamriel worldspace, not the Bruma worldspace. Conversely, if you build your house inside the Bruma city walls, you must place it in the Bruma worldspace and not the Tamriel worldspace.

Have you tested your mod with a new character? Or a character that has never visited the modded cell? When you change things in the CS, sometimes changes don't show up immediately or ever in savegames that have been involved with the cell in question. You might try testing an old savegame or doing a clean save when your character is not in the modded cell.

You talk of deactivating your other mods, so I am quite sure that you did indeed activate your new mod.

Are any of your objects initially disabled? That will make them invisible and untouchable. This can happen if you cut and paste from existing things that are initially disabled for quests.

I suppose that all of your meshes and textures work right? I suppose they are all vanilla Oblivion resources or that if they are custom, they either reside within the mod or else are properly mastered to the mod that has them and that this other mod is installed and active? If you have certain problems in this department, your house could be present but invisible.

Not sure what happened but I guess third time's a charm. It's there now. Now the task is to figure out why it wans't there in the first place. Many thanks for the suggestions. I will use them to troubleshoot what happened.
