Several armor mods only at companions

Hey

I've git a problem with serveral Armor Mods like the "1st recon armor" When I install the mod, there are 8 oder 9 different types of armor I can choose...but they look all the same on my own char. Only on my followers I can see the difference..

So why only on my followers and not on my own char?

I'm using FOMM to install the mods.

I really don't know what I did wrong.
