Mig35 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Can I move the steamapps folder with the skyrim installation in it out of the program files folder without reinstalling it ? I use mod organizer and enb.

vlaka Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) You could also follow this guide to make your skyrim 'vanilla' linkthen all you need to do is make an archive of the skyrim folder, delete the local content via steam then go to install it again, specifying the hard drive, begin the download and then stop it and copy your original skyrim folder to the new location then run it through steam.No need to muck around with linking etc AND you get to keep your steam install in place with your other games. Mig35 Posted February 26, 2015 Author Posted February 26, 2015 What I want is moving Skyrim out of the program files folder. While installing ENB I discovered that is recommended due to some issues but then I had installed it in the program files already. Thank you for the info, will do fine!
