wildmagicrose87
im ready to tear my hair out. my current save will load, then five seconds after it finishes, oblivion immediately pulls a CTD. it started doing this after i downladed and installed DarNified UI, though i dont think this is whats causing the problem, as it caused no trouble until i purchased and mounted a horse. the horse is affected by a personally created mod that replaced the horse model with one from slofs extra horses mod, and also increased the horses stats. i have also installed blood & mud, so im wondering if that is the cause. McclaudEagle
My only current advice is to make sure that you have all the files needed for all the mods to work. If that fails, try manually testing each mod by deactivating them one at a time until you find the culprit.

Download and run BOSS (Better Oblivion Sorting Software) if you don't already have it. Sometimes, even if you have all of the masters if they are not in the proper order in the load you will get CTDs. If your personal mod has some dependencies, you will have to insert its name into the masterlist yourself, but that's easy enough to do as it is a text file. No need for directly editing the masterlist anymore. Newer versions of BOSS support a User List function. You can create a custom list to ADD, OVERRIDE, and so on for any mod you choose. It's very convenient and work without a hitch as long as you follow the documentation and use proper syntax.
