Kolagon
You know how in Daggerfall and Morrowind, you were able to wear two different Pauldrons, etc. Would it be possible to do the same for Oblivion? Mainly for the Vanilla armor. Honestly, if anyone could do that, that'd be awesome. Basicly, i'd like for slots for my armor so I can custom my character to my tastes. Like, what if I wanted to make a character from my Daggerfall game into oblivion?
razorpony
Unfortunately the Oblivion engine uses hardcoded body slots. You really can't add more than what's there, which is why capes and wigs etc generally use the tail slot since it's only used for beast races. If you really want to remake your character I'd suggest doing an armor mash-up with 3dsmax or blender and using that in game. RP
Kolagon
Sadly, I'm no good at those two things.. so I guess i'll have to ask later if anyone could put a few armor pieces together to look like my character's armor by using the Vanilla oblivion's armor.. See, I'm doing a Let's Roleplay Daggerfall series and i've been thinking that once the main quest is beaten and I head on over to Oblivion to continue my character's story, he'd be able to bring the armor into Cyrodil. Kolagon
Ok, seeing as its impossible to do. Instead of two different pauldrons, what about just one pauldron could be worn with other armor? Using the tail slot of course. motarx
Can also make mash-ups with copy paste branch in Nifskope, though it isn't as sleek as blender imo but it far easier to grasp at a glance.
razorpony
True, but only IF the pauldrons or whatever you wish to copy are separate objects and not part of the main mesh. RP
