Sergiov
Hey guys, a few weeks ago, when I reinstalled FO3, I discovered that the water wasn't really .... water, I mean, it only shows reflections but they start flickering, and just if you step on it, it will show the refractions, and this is very annoying you know, because when you are swimming under the water... dunno if its said like that, my English is not perfect, anyways, you see like if you were swimming under a flickering floor, not water, so, does anybody know how to fix this problem???, by the way, I haven't patched the game, either I have modded it, so all is intact. Any idea or solution??. Here is a pic:http://i51.tinypic.com/2vwen8n.jpg
prandiningrat
Make sure you turn all water options under the game settings in the Fallout Launcher.or try your water options to low quality. You should patch your game to the latest if you have mods installed.

I thought on a solution, but I'm not a pro or even qualify as a newbie with modding and those things, so what if somebody uploads the water files, so I can try to use them and see if mine got corrupted or something, but it'll be very weird, because my game is original... anyways... thank you
roquefort
"..so what if somebody uploads the water files.." If anyone did something like that they'd get banned for redistributing game content. Don't you have all the game files yourself? Might be best to just re-install the game ;) Edited November 23, 2010 by roquefort

It might just simply be a graphics glitch. Have you tried updating your graphics drivers? Also, try updating DirectX, that helps sometimes I think. I actually updated directX, and well, my graphic drivers are up to date, and here is something weird, the water looks like in the photo, but if I let a item or shoot at the water, it's refractions and all the details appear, so it must be something with the game, geez... I'm not a expert neither qualify as anything with those matters...
