Hey, I working on a radio signal mod (I know, nothing new) and would like to accept requests for songs. I would like songs that fit the atmosphere though and the mood and the timeline. Anybody know any good songs? The radio station is kinda New Reno based. Thats why I am going back and am going to Fallout 2.

I may not have any particular song names in mind, but in addition to 30's-50's lore-friendly acts like Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, and maybe others like Dinah Washington and Louie Armstrong that other may be able to suggest, why not have (or go back later and make) something like the border blasters that played in the southwest out of Mexico in the 60's-70's? How about interjecting numbers from the psychedelic/protest era of the late 60's and the early metal of the 70's like "White Rabbit" from Jefferson Airplane, "Strange Days" by the Doors, "Communication Breakdown" by Led Zeppelin, "Iron Man" & "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath, and "The Mad Hatter's Song" by the Incredible String Band.

I'm sure in spite of the stricter cultural policing in the Fallout universe there was an underground counterculture scene at some point between the 1950's and 2077, but the government in the Fallout universe was able to keep a tighter lid on it, probably pulling a "Go Straight to Guantanamo. Do Not Pass Jail. Do Not Collect $200" and made them "vanish."

Bing Crosby without the Andrews sisters? preposterous! But seriously you cant look at the Andrews sisters without coming across one of the top ten most popular tracks ever! Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy which comes under Jump blues and Jump blues could use a radio station of its own. try;

Or check this, Gatemouth is wearing the Desperado hat!

If you're putting in Sinatra, I'd definitely like I Get a Kick Out of You, and My Way. They'd seem to be the type of music Courier would listen to.

I Get a Kick out of You was one of the first songs I added in my BETA station when I first got New Vegas. lol. I am going to look up My Way soon.

Also, great suggestions up there. :)
